EFF Looking for Test Cases To Challenge DHS "Risk Assessment" Program
In its challenges to the Department of Homeland Security's Automated Target System's methodology of assigning "risk assessment" to individual air travelers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation is calling those who feel they have been unfairly targeted to step forward.
"We are particularly interested in hearing from folks who have had repeated problems, or have been told by government agents that they are on a 'list' or that there is some unexplained 'problem' that needs to be resolved," the EFF's Derek Slater wrote on the organization's website yesterday.
Slater urged those who might be affected to share their story by writing [email protected] and offering details. The EFF saisd that all responses will be treated cofidentially and may be followed up.
