Actix Appoints New CEO

Actix, a provider of wireless performance engineering solutions,�today announced the appointment of Dave Wilkinson as Chief Executive Officer. Wilkinson was previously Chief Operating Officer of the company.

Wilkinson brings more than 15 years’ experience of management and operational experience in the telecommunications and software industries to his new role as CEO of Actix. As COO of the company, he had overall responsibility for product development and the Actix global business. Wilkinson was also responsible for establishing the company’s sales and engineering organizations in the U.S. and Europe; and, as sales director, he was responsible for all global revenue targets.

Rob Dobson, founder and former CEO, will remain with Actix as Chief Technology Officer and will drive the company’s technology vision.�
