This announcement came out today:

Cymfony Launches Digital Consumer Insight to Analyze Blogs, Message Boards and Other Consumer-Generated Media for Market Intelligence

The company Cymfony describes itself as "a leader in automated media measurement, market research and business intelligence." This new blog-focused service is designed to help marketers "analyze consumer discussions, trends and sentiment expressed in blogs, message boards, customer feedback sites, consumer emails, usenet groups and other consumer content to gain immediate market intelligence."
