McDonald's Using Call Centers for Takeout

Ever drive up to a fast food joint -- then drive away because eight cars were stacked up at the drivethrough?

Well, now some McDonald's stores are using call centers to take customers' orders ahead of time. Just call in your order, then head to the restaurant, pick up and pay and drive away. Saves time, plus the stores that use the call centers report an average order $.19 higher.
