MagicJack versus Nettalk, They Have Zero Competition, Only Each Other

I am excited! A third party is buying  MagicJack and Nettalk services for me and others in Pensacola, Florida, USA area to do a comparative review. They are competitors, big time! Nothing else compares to either one.

Let me know any particular particulars you think I should compare and contrast. I am feeling very neutral. I should get both devices and services started at my home within a month. I will report on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin and will compile it here and on Techistan magazine.

On face value, I'd be leaning towards nettalk since you can plug it straight into the router, though I imagine there's a lot of people who would think exactly the oposite and just want something to plug in a USB.

Very interesting comparison.

Net Talk is the best option, as you can plug it into a USB port on a computer OR you can plug it into your router directly. Gives you the choice that MajicJack doesn't, your computer has to be on and logged in all the time for it to work. I have tried both and have kept the Net Talk for just this reason.

Net Talk seems to have a lot more "local" numbers to choose from so that those calling you do not have to call long distance froma land line. They do cost a bit more, but they claim this is made up for in power 24/7 with your computer left on with Magic Jack and wear and tear on the computer too.
