Many of the Internet giants wrote an open letter to the US Government calling for surveillance reform. It calls for sensible surveillance with checks, balances and oversight. As Fred Wilson states, "When you get a National Security Letter, you have no choice but to comply, even if it violates everything you and your company stand for."
