WiMAX and VoIP getting closer

Speakeasy has deployed a commercial WiMAX network with intel's help in Seattle on top of the Space Needle. This is a great step forward for ubiquitous VoIP, IP TV, IP Videoconferencing and IP Communications in general. I can see Pocket PCs, Laptops, Automobiles, Appliances all outfitted with WiMAX chips and using Xten software to communicate over IP. I can see 2005 being the year that VoWiMAX was first deployed in a metropolitan area. more..
