On Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 3:35PM, Doug Makishima, COO and VP of Mobile and Personal Communications at D2 Technologies,will moderate the panel presentation, “Is 4G the most important trend in device development?,” a breakout session at the 4G Wireless Evolution Conference.
In addition to this session, on Thursday, Feb. 3, from 2:00-2:45PM, Makishima, will also be speaking on The Future of Video Communications on Mobile Devices panel. Joining Makishima will be moderator, Doug Mohney, editor-in-chief at HD Voice news as well as Pete Weldon from Sprint and Hanna Tong, director of business development convergence solutions for Samsung.
This session will draw on trends in enterprise communications, advances in video technology, the growth of cellular networks, and the latest mobile devices, to discuss if and when video will become a mainstay in the mobile enterprise. Discussion will include challenges of different mobile operating systems, infrastructure, and user expectations.
Doug has had a great presence at ITEXPO's in the past, so we look forward to meeting with him again this year and hearing him speak on these panels.
