iBasis' Chris Lengyel to Speak at VIPeering Sessionat ITEXPO East 2011

Editor’s Day at ITEXPO East 2011 was a great success yesterday as TMC’s Editorial team met with industry leaders from technology and communications companies from all over the world. Chris Lengyel, director of Product Management for iBasis, and a speaker at the VIPeering session on February 2, is hosting a lecture titled “Requirements for Peering Success: Security, Quality, and Reachability,” and let me in on a bit about what iBasic does

A KPN company, iBasis, is a wholesale carrier of international voice services. “We take phone calls from country to country, and continent to continent,” stated Lengyel. As a supplier of mobile data and prepaid services, iBasis supports roaming, SMS services, and data applications, and it is known as the fourth or fifth largest wholesale carrier in the world.
