Ignite Technology wants to you to know business video services with peer-to-peer assisted delivery and 100 percent enterprise reach exists—and it’s got it.
At ITEXPO East 2011 for the first time, Ignite’s Fabian Gordon will be speaking on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. about business video with a focus on what it takes to deploy a content delivery solution within a corporate environment with the incorporation of mobile video.
Gordon said that users are accustomed to going to the company portal, and actively participating by downloading or watching a video—which only reaches a small percentage of a corporate audience. Mobile technology allows users to access content as it comes to them, where they can proactively store the video online and watch it while off the network.
The company will also be exhibiting a new product line at booth #929, in addition to an iPad product and other mobile features. Ignite has also moved into the social networking area with what Gordon calls a “YouTube for the enterprise type,” where users can publish their own content or subscribe to others’ using its content delivery system on the same platform the customers are already using.
Gordan said ITEXPO is a good fit for the company because of its “maturity in business video” and the variety of vendors and researchers that the show brings.
Ignite focuses on larger enterprises, like Bank of America and the pharmaceutical industry, who have trouble securely delivering video and other content through mobile sales forces.
“The bigger the company, the more likely they will need our services,” said Gordon.
