Two words: cloud and wireless. Those are the words I am hearing again and again today at ITEXPO’s press day here in beautiful Miami.
Mobility and hosted solutions are two big trends in the enterprise networking space, as ADTRAN’s Bob Locklear told me in an interview this morning. Check out my story at this link.
Clarus Systems, which continues to expand the breadth of its products as well as its partnerships. In the year ahead, the company plans to focus on three key pillars: analytics, video and telepresence, and the cloud.
Gurmeet Lamba, senior vice president of product development at Clarus Systems, says that the cloud is also one of three key pillars on which his company is focused (the other two are analytics, and video and telepresence). For more on that, click here.
And BridgeWave’s leader, Amir Makleff, again this year had a lot of interesting things to talk about. As promised at the last ITEXPO, BridgeWave is now readying to unveil a 4G picocell solution. Makleff also talked to me about an interesting arrangement his company has struck up with FiberTower.
The FiberTower story I wrote should post soon. Find that, and all my ITEXPO postings, at this link.
