Skype Usage Declining

Alan Percy has some thoughts about Skype and how less and less people seem to be using it. I have heard this before. Here at TMC, we are still using the software but are slowly transitioning to Microsoft Office Communicator. I still use both programs by the way and when communicating with family, Skype has proven to be invaluable.

Skype use will pick back up by force, if for no other reason than to turn it on for testing face to face the latest deluge of Skype Business Gateways. Whether it's this new Skip2pbx or Vosky or EZsky or Voicegear, Voipyou, Voipme, well you get the picture, people seem anxious to find a suitable machine or a reliable program for using Skype in business. I've read other blogs abd quality of calls has certainly remained a key issue.
