How does Iran censor the Net? With tools from America of course. These tools are being used illegally according to the vendor that sells them. The political process is being negatively affected in Iran and the censors in this country are typically the ISPs as opposed to China where censorship is centrally controlled by the government.
I understand that Anonymyzer is being us in China and Iran to sidestep censors. I am glad such tools exist.

October 3, 2008 at 4:54 pmAs an Iranian, I know first hand how bad this is. I have dedicated my life to not only sidestepping censor, but for equality rights for every one.
I just sickens me to be under such a terrible government. We are able to beat the censors. I have compiled a small list of web sites to use to beat these censors on my website. Please use them and sign the women’s equality petition.
I’m sorry – I do not mean to spam my blog. I just truely believe this is an important issue and must spread the word.
