Yesterday was amazing for me as I got to sit down with many of the people here at ITEXPO in Austin and the collocated events and learn about what is happening at their companies. For example I had an awesome discussion about tech patents with Chris Douglas, Attorney at Law at Alston & Bird LLP. It was great to get his viewpoint on what is happening in the market as there seems to be more mobile patent than product news lately.

I even got a chance to hear about a new party at the show being thrown by Glen Goldberg and Parallel Communications Group.

Alan Percy and I caught up and he told me about the latest SBC and other happenings at AudioCodes – BTW, everyone is now is pushing their SBC products at the show it seems. It’s a big theme at the show and the panels on SBCs as well as most others were standing room only. Alan also shared details of new partnerships with Genesys and ShoreTel.
