Channels

One of the fastest growing areas of TMCnet is the channels program which are micro-communities of interest. These channels focus on so many topics I can’t list them all but a few of the more recent ones are here for your perusal. The span virtually every area of communications and they are to me the future of the internet. Why? They allow micro targeted news and views to be accessed by a very targeted audience specifically looking for this information. You can see they span from IPTV to Business VoIP and VoiceXML:

I'm admittedly a partisan, but shouldn't your IP Contact Center channel cover more than just Genesys? Avaya, Nortel, and Asterisk-based IP contact center solutions all make news on a regular basis. When I follow this link, it looks like I'm on the Genesys Labs home page.

The news does get updated very often and I agree we should put the news higher up on the page. Our channel sponsors are actively involved in the design of the pages. We will make sure to let them know going forward that the latest news should be closest to the top.
