Altice Mobile Rocks the House with Mobile Offer

Competitively speaking Altice has an incredible offer in the Mobile space. Unlimited data, talk and text for just $20 a month for one line, and $20 a month for each additional line. Plus, as a loyal Optimum customer, for a limited time, you may be able to lock in $20 a month for life as an Optimum customer. Otherwise $30 for life.

Look at this offer:

  • Unlimited data, talk and text nationwide
  • Unlimited mobile hotspot
  • Unlimited video streaming
  • Unlimited international talk and text from the US to more than 35 countries
  • Unlimited data, talk and text while traveling abroad in more than 35 countries

The catch? there is always a catch. Verizon Wireless works best in much of the Altice footprint – the northeast. Altice is an MVNO reselling AT&T and Sprint.

AT&T has a very fast network, Sprint has lots of available spectrum. This means the service you get – when you have service, is likely going to be great. You will also save a lot of money if you switch.

Other things to know is pricing includes a $5 autopay discount, there may be a $10 activation fee. LTE and WiFi are the networks in use. There is no 3G.

Limitations on the “Unlimited” data plan are as follows: Speeds for video streaming over LTE and hotspot tethering will be reduced to 2G (e.g., 128 Kbps) after 50GB of data usage in a month for the remainder of the billing period after the allotment is exceeded. Subject to this allotment policy, use of your device as a WiFi hotspot will be unlimited at 600 Kbps speeds, and streaming video will be at DVD quality (480p).

All in, a solid value when compared to the major wireless carriers – especially if you are an Altice customer already.
