AudioCodes Leverages Practical AI to Help Transform Enterprise Communication

AudioCodes, a longstanding provider known traditionally for gateways and session border controllers (SBC), is now making waves as an innovative provider of AI-driven enterprise communication solutions. Tayler Anderson, a veteran in the communications channel and currently Director at AudioCodes, provided insights into the company’s strategic transformation and rapid adoption of practical artificial intelligence tools that are reshaping business interactions and productivity.

Anderson highlighted a key transition within AudioCodes: moving significantly beyond legacy products to a robust portfolio of modern services. “AudioCodes was traditionally seen as the gateway and SBC company,” Anderson explained. “Now, we’re predominantly an ‘as-a-service’ company. Only about 10 to 20 percent of our conversations still revolve around our legacy products.”

This shift reflects AudioCodes’ keen focus on capitalizing on practical AI applications, steering clear of market hype to offer genuinely useful tools. Anderson clarified this approach with a revealing company mantra: “AI has become this generation’s cloud—everyone talks about it. At AudioCodes, we have an internal saying: ‘Turning AI dreams into monetary reality.’ Every AI product we offer is practical, purposeful, and directly tied to real business outcomes.”

Among AudioCodes’ leading AI solutions is Meeting Insights, an enterprise-oriented tool designed to enhance meeting productivity and collaboration. Distinguishing itself from typical meeting-assistant tools, Meeting Insights securely stores data within the organization, delivering robust, insightful, and governed analytics. Anderson emphasized its enterprise appeal, noting, “Meeting Insights is built specifically for enterprises—it’s secure, easy to deploy, and inexpensive. Unlike other AI assistants, Meeting Insights stores meeting data securely within the organization, making it accessible for strategic insights without compromising governance.”

Recent enhancements have expanded Meeting Insights capabilities significantly. AudioCodes announced new integrations with major Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365, allowing seamless integration of meeting analytics directly into customer engagement workflows. Additionally, a newly launched mobile application facilitates recording and summarizing in-person meetings, offering flexibility beyond traditional unified communications setups.

Another notable advancement is AudioCodes’ expansion of its Meeting Insights offering to support Zoom meetings, further extending its reach across leading communication platforms. Key functionalities such as AI-powered summaries, action item identification, and real-time transcription with speaker identification are now readily available, reinforcing AudioCodes’ commitment to enhancing productivity irrespective of the collaboration tool used.

Furthermore, AudioCodes has developed an innovative solution named Voice AI Connect, a powerful middleware Anderson humorously calls the company’s “magic box.” This technology seamlessly integrates speech-to-text and translation services, enabling real-time multilingual conversations. Anderson described its unique capabilities: “Our Voice AI Connect seamlessly integrates speech-to-text and translation services, translating calls in less than one second. It allows natural speech conversations across languages effortlessly, transforming customer interactions.”

AudioCodes’ Voca Contact Center solution has also seen significant adoption, particularly through enhanced compatibility with Microsoft Teams. The platform, which earned recognition as the Contact Center of the Year for Teams, offers seamless integration, providing streamlined provisioning and robust service continuity. This integration ensures businesses benefit from both high reliability and the sophisticated AI services available through Azure.

Complementing its AI suite, AudioCodes recently introduced expanded Live services, which incorporate AI-powered applications designed explicitly for modernizing customer and employee experiences. These solutions, delivered via the AudioCodes Live platform, include Voca CIC, Meeting Insights, and Interaction Insights. They offer a combination of cloud-based compliance recording and analytics, positioned attractively on a per-user, subscription basis, thus lowering the total cost of ownership.

Anderson also underscored the company’s strong emphasis on secure and responsible AI deployment within enterprise environments. He explained the differentiation clearly: “A common risk with many AI meeting tools is lack of governance. Users unknowingly share sensitive data externally. With Meeting Insights, deployment is managed by IT, ensuring granular control, security, and compliance.”

Through these strategic innovations and integrations, AudioCodes continues to solidify its position not merely as a provider of traditional telephony hardware but as a transformative player leveraging AI to deliver meaningful business outcomes and enhanced operational efficiency.
