Google Earth Complaints

There are a number of very upset government officials around the world. Google Earth is providing sensitive information about government buildings and even presidential facilities. As Google sees it the information is readily available already. They are just organizing things a bit better. The way leaders of a number of nations see it, the UN needs to step in and set up guidelines to curb this sort of thing.

It is tough to argue that if information is freely available already how harm will come from Google organizing that information. But still these government officials do have reason to worry as in some cases they are at war with other countries or just fighting terrorism in general. More.

I just downloaded the free 3.0.0693 onto a new computer. The image is overlaid with slightly photographic images (fuzzy). Has anyone else seen this? Does Google Earth know?
The previous version downloaded about 2 months ago did not have this.
    Comments anyone.

I Tried looking at My Neighborhood to see how well it worked, but it never zoomed in well and stayed very blurry. I assumed thats just the way things turned out,but then I placed a few friends’ exact adresses in : Canada and Caliornia, and I got perfect views of their houses. as I place my Address into Google earth,my neighborhood doesnt even show up. Does oklahoma not count anymore? heh. I just want to know why I cant view my neighborhood as I viewed my friends’.

Google Earth has a terrible search engine. A search for Wake Island (in the Western Pacific) gives you a location in the continential US. No variation in the search argument with bring you to the actual island. Is there a better way to do this?

I live in the east Denver area. I loved Google Earth when it came out. But, The area as a whole where I live is almost 8 years old. I know they say that they upgrade as they get photos. I’m tired of waiting. After I enter this, it’s being taken off of my computer. Maybe I’ll check again in another 8 years. They do have some good services. I think this one is just become mediocre though.

Today March 25th I purchased google earth for about $64.00 USD I have downloaded the programmes. However I cannot install one of the programmes so therefore can’t use the system as intended, as I need to download and install microsoft outlook which I do not use as I use Eudora.
Is there a way I can utilise the programmes in the correct manner or would you like to refund my money.
I have already spoken to my bank and they are waiting for your comments.
    B Regards

Very disappointed with the latest version of Google Earth. I have the latest drivers for my video card, have tried both graphics modes, but unless you zoom to almost street level there are no place names.

I have just gone on google earth and was very upset to find a very clear picture of my daughter from when she was about 10 yrs old I dont think it is right that pictures of your children are put up for all the world to see if the parents have to given consent.
If you child is photo at school nursery or play group then you have to sign a form to agree to it.
Which makes me think google had no right in putting up picture of my 10 yr old daughter

Google earth has modified the historical images so that I cannot see details that I used to see. Why?
