Theglobe.com subsidiary TGLO is leveraging VoIP 2.0 to help boost sales and the stock price. The company will be overlaying VoIP to users of social networks Myspace and Friendster meaning they are also building voice communities. This release is great for the company and positions them as a forward looking VoIP company. Let’s see if this boosts the stock price. It is certainly a smart move but not the first time social networks have merged with VoIP. I recall FWD doing something similar a while back as well.
