Nokia N800 The Real Story

July 6, 2007
What is the world’s toughest job at the moment? It has to be trying to compete head on with the iPhone. But as Om Malik points out, the Nokia N800 does a great deal of what the iPhone does not and did it sooner. A new upgrade enables Skype to run and has Flash support. I must have upgraded more recently than Om because I can watch YouTube videos (which are based on Flash) on my device.

Ok, to be straight with my readers the two devices are not really head to head competitors as the N800 is not a cell phone. But if you spend much of your time in areas where there is WiFi the N800 is a perfect device for giving you web, e-mail, Skype access and more.
