In a world where social media allows the world to talk back – you have to be extra careful. Through Greenpeace, the world has come together to vent their frustration with BP via Photoshop and creativity. The goal is to recreate the company’s logo in a manner which encompasses the oil tragedy the company is currently embroiled in.
The challenge for BP of course is that they have been advertising for years that they are now “beyond petroleum” implying they aren’t in the oil business anymore. Obviously this is coming back to haunt them as we see daily videos of the oil gusher below the ocean. I put some of my favorite samples below… Flickr has more.
