Polycom is Everywhere

I can’t help but be super-impressed by the progress Polycom is making in the market. The company’s devices work with virtually all companies and they have just expanded their VIP interoperability program. Amazingly, the company announced six new partners, Cedar Point Communications, LignUp, MetaSwitch, PanTerra Networks, Sutus, and Zultys which definitely means they are in a great position as the ultimate IP communications arms dealer.
 
One thing corporations can consider is purchasing Polycom devices first and then standardizing on a hosted service or IP-PBX later. The company deserves a great deal of credit for partnering so closely with so many IP communications companies and now being included in just so many IP communications device RFPs.
