CallVantage Provisioning Message

Here is a note that AT&T CallVantage sent its customers today. It follows a similar voicemail message:

This is a very important notice for AT&T CallVantage service customers. We are pleased to inform you that we have completed our review of the ordering and provisioning systems, and full service has been restored.

On March 4, 2006 we notified all customers that we were conducting a review of our ordering and provisioning systems. During this temporary period, you were requested not to physically move your Telephone Adapter to another location outside your home. You can now move your Telephone Adapter, however we will only be able to provide service if the new location provides E-911 Service.

The registered 911 service address we have on file for you must correspond to the physical location where you are using your AT&T CallVantage service in order for us to accurately identify your location and the nearest Public Safety Answering Point. Please remember to update your Service Address whenever you use your Telephone Adapter at a different location.

We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience this temporary review period may have caused. Thank you for being a valued AT&T CallVantage customer.
