According to this release, we are thanks to UMTS TD-CDMA technology from IPWireless For now you need to be in Prague to take advantage of this wonderful service that will give you up to 512kbps throughput at a base level and 1 Mbps at the high-end. Similar to the way EVDO works the speeds are not guaranteed. The carrier providing the service is T-Mobile. I wonder if Catherine Zeta Jones is as big of a hit in that market. I suppose they have Zorro in Eastern Europe as well 🙂
