This Monday Excel Switching will complete the Brooktrout acquisition according to CEO Marc Zionts at the Excel User Conference today. Marc gave a great keynote speech where he discussed the concept of how IT departments are beginning to develop applications. Beyond that he touched on how fast the wireless market is growing. India for example is destined to boom — they will become the #2 cellular market by 2010. One other point is that Excel is doing well in China and as Marc points out if you can do well in telecom in China you can do well anywhere.
