The SIP Tutorial, collocated with ITEXPO and 4GWE, is a full day training program that will focus on SIP technology from SIP messaging, though Server types, Security, Firewall and NAT operation, SIP Trunking, Troubleshooting and SIP in Unified Communications. SIP Tutorial is presented by two of the most knowledgeable authorities and notable figures in the SIP world, Dr. Alan Johnston, and Henry Sinnreich.

The CDMA Development Group (CDG www.cdg.org) and the CDG Smart Wireless Special Interest Group (M2M SIG) will hold the Smart Wireless Workshop on the afternoon of Monday, October 4, during the TMC 4G Wireless Evolution (4GWE) and M2M Evolution Conference. The half-day workshop, “Building the Future with M2M,” will feature CDMA operators, MVNOs, application/middleware, device and module vendors exploring the business case and implementation tools necessary for companies to succeed in delivering smart wireless services across a number of vertical markets: tele-medicine, smart grid/energy, telematics and consumer electronics.

This event spotlights early-stage entrepreneurs and innovators in communication technology. Industry leaders, investors, developers and media will converge in Los Angeles to network and validate entrepreneur pitches in this energetic, unique setting. Five startups will be selected to give brief five-minute “pitch” presentations to a panel of industry experts. Audience participation is encouraged. Startups will benefit from significant exposure leading up to, at and after the event.
