Over the past years the economic and political climate has in many ways overshadowed in importance the tech happenings of the day. The historic elections of this week where the turnout was so great shows the tremendous interest the country is taking in politics.

You may have noticed that some TMC bloggers have been commenting on the politics of the day in their traditional tech blogs and they may continue to do so – but you will find more of my political writings in a new area called Patriot Talk and my first entry discusses how ex-GE CEO Jack Welch suggests the Congress stops the Obama administration from killing jobs.
