My new daughter was born last Thursday and she has medium blue eyes which was quite a shock — seeing that my family generally has dark features. Her older sister Priscilla also had blue eyes when born but they were much darker blue. Her mother’s mother does have the same color eyes. I am pretty sure thy will change to brown at some point. These are the types of discussions one has when cooped up in a hospital room for four days and nights straight. Here is a photo:
