Paul Amery the head of Skype’s Development Program is speaking today at TMC’s Communications Developer Conference and is focusing on the five trends in communications development. Paul broke news at the show with the launch of a new program for game developers.
The new Skype Games Channel Program is a way to help game developers publish and promote their games to Skype’s growing user base.
Paul cited Marc Robin’s column in Internet Telephony Magazine where Marc complains the hype about unified messaging has been way ahead of adoption for years.
From there. There was talk of mashups, mapping and mobility. He also focused on unified contact management and complained how tough it is to manage contacts across services and devices.
