Microsoft recently made a smart move by partnering with Russian mobile phone operator MTS to provide customers with a bundled PC, software and wireless broadband for a monthly fee. This allows consumers with less money to have access to the relatively latest and greatest in computing.
This agreement follows similar ones in other countries and is a natural way to compete with Linux while complying with the concept of creative capitalism that Bill Gates has said is a great way to help the poor while serving the interests of capitalistic companies.
