Spearline, a network intelligence company in the telecommunications industry, announced the expansion of its in-country number testing platform to the UAE. In July, Spearline’s customers can test audio quality and connectivity, automatically and at volume in the UAE, as well as in 65 other countries worldwide. To date, Spearline has conducted millions of test calls worldwide, resulting in billions of data-points.
In an exclusive interview with Mike Palmer CMO and Mark Rohan Head of Enterprise Solutions, we learned more about how the company helps organizations test phone quality in different countries.
Mike explained they work with many companies that provide conference calls as there is reputational impact if calls are not of the highest quality.
One of the current challenges of dealing with providers who don’t meet SLAs is proving what the issue was. Spearline packages the CDR and recordings together in order to make it easy to share with carriers.
Every failure causes a human to get involved to verify the root cause in minutes, they said.
One challenge they pointed out is carriers often cut service levels as they lower prices meaning the end-result of negotiation could be worse service.
Spearline fills in the gaps to ensure service quality.
Also, they mentioned you need a PESQ score of 3.8 in order for call analytics to work correctly.
Mike said the future of the company is to continue global expansion. “Commerce knows no barriers,” he exclaimed.
