I just had a meeting with Chris MacFarland the CTO of PAETEC and we had a chance to discuss what is new at his company. Of interest is that the company has recently gotten the PAETEC and McLeod networks interworking meaning if your company has branches in areas which were previously in areas covered by both providers, you can now have MPLS, VPN and converged services working across the entire network.
They are seeing a tremendous ramp in SIP trunking adoption but there are no hard numbers to share at this moment.
