Sonus CTO Leaves for Tellabs

vikram-saksena.jpg

I have written about Vikram Saksena in the past - and as CTO of Sonus, I have had the chance to speak with him a few times and have always been impressed at how he has been able to discuss the intricacies of providing advanced communications services in a straightforward manner. This is one of the reasons I invited Saksena to keynote the latest ITEXPO - where he did a great job.

Saksena is moving on to Tellabs and I wish him well. The question is how will Sonus replace him and will this high level departure increase pressure on the company at a time where other execs have recently departed as well.

To me this is a sign of a healthy industry. 2 relative strong companies competing for the best available talent. In the short run, no one likes change, but is what keeps our industry healthy.

My company, like TMC is trying to help those affected by the down turn in economy. http://www.avadtechnologies.com/ reseller program offers a way to earn ongoing revenue by referring clients to our Hosted VoIP (Broadsoft based)platform.

You can be as involved in the process as you like.
