The Latest Microsoft/Yahoo News

The latest in the Microsoft/Yahoo saga is a number of lawsuits from shareholders looking to get Yahoo! to sell to Microsoft. In addition, a Microsoft exec sent an e-mail to employees of the world's largest software company telling them the market wants the merger to go through and moreover to treat Yahoo as a competitor until the merger goes through.

One wonders if such an email is in response to Microsoft taking it easy on Yahoo as a competitor or a sign that Microsoft thinks the negotiations will drag on for months.

As always when watching soap operas... You have to tune in daily so you don't miss a plot twist.
