Recently I discussed how walking around with an iPad 2 in my hands made me feel like I was carrying around a priceless vase. Part of the reason is the glass is thinner and the case only covers half of the device and not the corners or sides.

Today Gregg Keizer over at Computerworld has a piece about how durable the glass really is and even analysis regarding what sorts of impact would cause the new glass to break. Some even think this new glass is better – like plastic in fact.
