Arrive AI, a provider of autonomous last-mile delivery infrastructure, has announced a strategic partnership with Virginia-based courier Go2 Delivery. The collaboration aims to pilot autonomous delivery of high-value, time- and temperature-sensitive specialty pharmacy products to residents in Hampton Roads, Richmond, and Norfolk.

Go2 Delivery, a carbon-free courier with deep local roots and a sustainability mission tied to Chesapeake Bay restoration, will integrate Arrive AI’s Autonomous Last Mile (ALM) platform into its operations. Testing of the platform is already underway in Virginia Beach, with full rollout expected to follow shortly.

“Our cutting-edge autonomous platform, poised to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of package delivery, is ready to demonstrate tangible benefits in a market already embracing autonomous innovation,” said Dan O’Toole, CEO of Arrive AI.

For Go2 Delivery, the partnership reflects a long-held interest in autonomous delivery solutions, particularly in high-risk environments such as multi-family housing where misdeliveries can have serious consequences.

“The Arrive AI platform offers a compelling solution for pharmacies that deal with high-risk, high-value medications, each costing up to $30,000,” said Eric Brown, CEO of Go2 Delivery. “Our partnership with Arrive AI ensures secure delivery, particularly in theft-prone or multi-family environments, directly benefiting patients managing serious health challenges.”

Brown cited the importance of HIPAA compliance, privacy protection, and delivery accuracy in pharmacy logistics. “Delivering a sensitive drug to the wrong patient doesn’t just endanger that person’s health, it puts the courier and the pharmacy at risk for violating PHI or federal HIPAA privacy laws,” he said.

The Arrive AI platform addresses these concerns by providing climate-controlled, secure drop-off points that authenticate recipients and ensure precise, one-to-one delivery — eliminating confusion from apartment layouts or shared entryways. The platform can also interface with IoT devices, act as a public safety alert hub, and provide charging capabilities, creating a multifunctional node for community logistics.

Arrive AI’s broader platform strategy aims to establish a connected network of secure delivery endpoints, compatible with drones, ground robots, or traditional couriers.

“The best use-case for drones in the package delivery industry is to get necessary medication to the people who need it, regardless of their location,” Brown added. “These are exciting times as we get closer to fulfilling that vision.”

With Virginia already established as a testbed for autonomous logistics, including drone deliveries by Walmart and Wing, the partnership positions both companies to accelerate adoption in an innovation-friendly region.

“This is a pivotal moment,” O’Toole said. “We are throwing down the gauntlet and commencing a new age for all shippers and deliverers.”
