I got a tip from someone at MCI that several people in the conferencing organization have been let go. These workers have been told unofficially that the group is being disbanded. This is surprising to me as I just got a mailing from the company touting their conferencing services. Conferencing should be a very profitable business so this is surprising news and someone on my editorial team will be following up on this story. Stay Tuned.
