Space Shuttle Streaming

Dave Rodriguez just showed me the space shuttle video streaming on Fox New’s site. Pretty cool.

I tried to watch it off NASA’s Web site…it froze at T-minus 40 seconds, and I missed the launch! Ah, the multimedia age…it’s great when it works.

NASA’s Idea of Multimedia

I watched the Discovery launch today, from my PC… One thing irks me, though, and that’s the use of the term “multimedia” to describe streaming video to a computer.
