The power of social media rears its head once again in the direction of BP. This time in the form of a YouTube video detailing how some of the creatures in Bikini Bottom, the home of SpongeBob SquarePants are fairing with all the oil in the water. The video is not really the funniest and has some profanity which is bleeped – and somehow the Beatles go into the episode. Also, where are Sandy, Mr. Crabs, Patrick and Squidward? Hopefully not dead.

You may recall a while back there was also a new BP logo contest and a funny video about what happens when BP spills coffee. Oh and let’s not forget Twitter – currently making the rounds on the social networking service – most recently courtesy of BiebsLuver123 is the following tweet:
