Open Systems Deepens Integration with Microsoft Azure Virtual WAN

This past September we had an exclusive interview with Open Systems CEO Jeff Brown and the company’s SD-WAN growth and differentiation. He told us:

Companies need to change their networks to handle the move to cloud and his company has been doing this for 15 years.

Yours Truly, Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC speaks with Dave Martin of Open Systems at SD-WAN Expo 2019 – collocated with ITEXPO. Daves excitement really shines through as you can see and hear in this interview.

“Our customers love us. Our NPS scores are very high,” Jeff exclaimed. “In addition, the company has low churn among its customers.” Open Systems is well-known in Switzerland and Europe and going forward, they see an opportunity to tell the U.S. and others what Swiss customers know, he explained.

The news of the day is the company has been formally announced as a partner in the Microsoft Azure Virtual WAN program. As partners, the companies have already integrated the Open Systems SD-WAN with Microsoft Azure and are now fully integrating the Open Systems SASE platform with both Azure and the Azure Virtual WAN to provide a solution for connecting enterprises and their remote offices to Azure Cloud services.

Ogi Stanovcic, Head of Strategic Alliances at Open Systems

This integration allows enterprises to migrate their IT infrastructure to the cloud and consolidate on-premises and off-premises data centers. Open Systems Secure SD-WAN ensures traffic is fully encrypted from customer premises into their Azure infrastructure and monitored end-to-end. With access to Azure clouds around the world, users can deploy applications as needed easily and quickly wherever they are located. Organizations can focus more on realizing business benefits, free from connectivity, security or bandwidth concerns.

SD-WAN and cloud transformation go hand-in-hand.

The SD-WAN in our SASE platform plays an essential part in digital transformation, dramatically simplifying the effort to ensure reliable and secure high-bandwidth connections between multiple Microsoft Azure installations.

Ogi Stanovcic, Head of Strategic Alliances at Open Systems

Microsoft has been very busy partnering with numerous companies in the industry. Just recently we reported CloudGenix Autonomous SD-WAN and CloudBlades Now Integrated with Microsoft Azure Virtual WAN and also that Fortinet Boosts Cybersecurity Offerings with Deeper Microsoft Azure Integration.

So consumers have lots of choice and as the SD-WAN market continues to grow, having more options is a good thing.
