VTech Communications is now Snom America to the carrier community. A well-regarded brand, VTech found it better to go to market with this moniker, as carriers are more familiar with it as a carrier brand. VTech is very well-known in the toy and consumer space but this didn’t always translate into the street cred needed to get a CSP to work with you.

The company carries a full array of SIP desk sets, conference systems, mobility solutions and those in hospitality. They are experts in DECT 6.0 and use this as a potent differentiator in the market.

SNOM has focused on providing the familiarity of a key system with DECT endpoints. Their 4-line M100 KLE SIP DECT 4-Line Base Station (below) has dedicated lines 1-4 like the good old days.

This is unique in the market.

The benefits of this approach are the bulletproof, proven nature of DECT and the flexibility of moving devices like conference phones from room to room as needed.M100 KLE SIP DECT 4-Line Base Station.jpg

In hospitality, the company is able to provide solutions to guests and the back office – a single-sourced solution. They now allow partners to bring this tech to different systems.

The company is vertically integrated, they own the plastics and injection factories making them more nimble and allowing them to add features quickly. SNOM America has factories in China and Malaysia.
