Skypein Japan

I just found out that Skype is now going to offer Skypein in Japan with Fusion a carrier partner who supplies Japanese numbers. Japan has been one for the leading adopters of VoIP so this move was smart for Skype. They should have good adoption rates in this country.

Skype in has also been aggressively moving to other parts of the world. Here is a schedule of where they have deployed SkypeIn service recently:

SkypeIn Brazil – Jan. 31, 2006
SkypeIn Korea – Feb. 13, 2006
SkypeIn Germany – Nov. 8, 2005
SkypeIn Switzerland – late Nov, 2005
