Are you kidding? I get to write about a topic I have far too much knowledge on? Ice cream?? Great news. And I get paid? Awesome. I got to try this ice cream a month ago and was extremely pleased with the whole experience. I haven’t ever had bad ice cream so I can’t tell you that Cold Stone was better or worse than – say, a pint of Haagen-Daaz. What I can tell you is that the experience of watching someone make your ice cream in front of you like a Subway sandwich is unique and different.
In case you haven’t been there, you get to mix and match different flavors into yoru ice cream at the store. You can choose from prepackaged mixes or make your own.
Cold Stone Creamery has been expanding quickly and in doing so they decided it was time to get a CRM package that not only allowed them to handle the customer communications with franchisees but also with customers. For this task they chose NetSuite CRM+.
I don’t get press releases with quotes about a CEO’s favorite flavor so I will share:
Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite, whose favorite Creation is Mudpie Mojo®, said, "Cold Stone Creamery is one of the most innovative and fastest growing companies in the world, and we are extremely happy to partner with them. Cold Stone Creamery is changing the way people think of ice cream, and with NetSuite, they will change the way people think about running a business."
I am pretty sure this topic will be discussed in today’s podcast in great detail as the web team at TMC are big fans of Cold Stone Creamery.
