I love Jeff Bezos and think he is quite a visionary. I am also a loyal Amazon.com customer. I really am. But when I saw the news that Amazon.com was opening a new customer care center I couldn’t help but laugh. Jeff was the person that said e-commerce would kill the call center.
Other than this predication, Jeff has been right on virtually with everything else he has done and Amazon’s continued success is proof of this. I can’t remember the exact quote or find a link to what Jeff said so if anyone out there knows the exact words or has a link to a page with the quote, please comment away.

August 16, 2006 at 7:25 pmI would like to delete a previous criticism of delay in receiving Mini Henna Tattoo from Amazon, since I later realized I used a form of address that the Postoffice wouldnt accept. (The package was probably returned to Sender, when it reached the local office.)
The matter has been pleasantly resolved by
a friendly and efficient customer service of the manufacturer.
