The announcement I just made about Blog Aid — the program which allows people out of work to have a voice so as to help keep them in the spotlight until they find a new work opportunity, has been pretty successful so far. Over a dozen people have contacted Greg and I so far to ask for more information. I have also had a number of people tell me they think this is a great idea.

Hopefully it will be more helpful than my wildest dreams and at a minimum, it is an additional way to assist people who are looking to continue contributing to the communications and tech communities during the hopefully short period they are out of work.
