I’ve been a big fan of Mosquito Magnet and this past summer used their Executive trap with much success. I first wrote about experience with the trap in 2004 when I purchased a Liberty Plus. I covered them again in 2005 and again in 2012 and 2013.

Bottom line, I used the trap this past summer – starting in June or so. I didn’t change the net.

These pictures show just how many bugs this device captured. We are looking at the deceased corpses of the insects that would have eaten my friends, family and me alive and perhaps spread a number of diseases in the process!

I estimate maybe 1,000 bugs in this bag. They are dried out which makes them look far smaller.

I continue to recommend these units – assuming you have enough land to put them on, perhaps three-quarters of an acre. One final point, wind, which blows in a somewhat constant direction is a big plus.
