Troops Lands $12M for Future of Work Sales Slackbot

Collaboration is an essential ingredient in the Future of Work and bringing better collaboration and automation to sales teams drives immediate productivity results which can often be measured in dollar signs.

Troops says their software allows sales to become a team sport while supercharging sales performance for teams using Slack. It gives everyone insight into the sales process to see, share, learn, and celebrate – even without their own Salesforce account.

Is there an important indicator in CRM certain sales people should know about? Now, they can be pushed out immediately.

Troops workflows automatically handle routine sales management activities and process alignment so you can devote more time to key coaching moments that help everyone grow.

Troops Automate keep opportunities moving with real-time notifications, making hand-off a breeze between teams.

It further allows you to build Salesforce workflows that alert reps in Slack to take action. It also allows you to see Salesforce reports right from Slack on desktop and mobile.

Integrate allows you to build comprehensive workflows with custom actions that help you update Salesforce directly from Slack. You can also automate routine sales management activities so you can devote more time to key coaching moments that help everyone learn and grow. Finally, it allows you to see real-time pipeline analytics and track team performance with complete Salesforce API monitoring.

Troops founder and chief executive officer Dan Reich, who previously co-founded TULA Skincare, told TechCrunch he opted to build a Slackbot rather than create an independent platform because Slack is a rocket ship and he wanted a seat on board: “When you think about where Slack will go in the future, it’s obvious to us that companies all over the world will be using it,” he said.

The company just raised $12 million dollars as VCs see a big future in collaboration, the Future of Work and AI.

Where do organizations go to learn more? The world’s only Future of Work Expo (collocated with the ITEXPO #TechSuperShow) of course. Feb 12-14, 2020 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
