There are few stories as inspiring as that of Google employee #13 who went from very poor to very very wealthy. Obviously there is an element of being in the right place at the right time here but to me it is the perseverance that shines through. You may have heard the expression that attitude determines altitude and I sincerely believe this is the case. In my experience, there is a much higher correlation between attitude and success than there is education and success. Never underestimate the importance of drive in life. If you wake up every KNOWING you will make a difference in the world, you more than likely will.
