We reported recently the company came roaring into the UC space with an acquisition of Cyclix Solutions LLC, a leading information technology and telecom services company with operations based in Gilford, New Hampshire.
Now they have made another big acquisition of Modulis. Founded in 2006, they provide services to mid-sized and large enterprises with VoIP phone services. Specializing in providing reliable and redundant phone systems on a global scale with its multi-tenant, load-balanced, and failover-enabled CPaaS platform. Modulis services users throughout the United States, Canada, and European markets, offering support availability in both English and French languages.

This acquisition furthers ClearlyIP’s reach, adding an additional office location and a Canadian entity in Montreal, Quebec, that will extend and strengthen their in-market presence across Canada. With this transaction, ClearlyIP greatly enhances its ability to provide large scale offerings as a leading VoIP infrastructure and solutions provider for OEMs, resellers and communications providers globally.

- Additional financial scale with an established base of resellers and diverse, high-value business customer base with a high percentage of MRR, high ARPU and low churn relative to industry averages.

- Brings together a highly capable staff of experienced VoIP, UCaaS, CPaaS, WEBRTC, Cloud Services professionals with the expertise to facilitate the more rapid integration of the business and execution of ClearlyIP’s strategy.
- Combines two teams long known for a passion for Open Source real-time communications, bringing together the original people that brought you FreePBX the world’s most popular open-source PBX platform and the largest certified Asterisk team in Canada!
- Over the coming months, ClearlyIP will dedicate additional resources to grow and transform the Modulis and ClearlyIP platforms to provide next-generation products and services to its customers.

ClearlyIP will integrate the network and billing systems over the next few months with the goal of minimally impacting customers while making the changes necessary to significantly enhance service offerings. Notices will be provided to Modulis customers prior to making any changes in their services. Existing Modulis customers will continue to receive the same services and all agreements, points of contact, and billings will continue uninterrupted.
